Already slipping??

Well. I was going to post last week after my trip to Birmingham. I didn't. I was going to post after going out Saturday night. I didn't. Although that time the hangover got the better of me. I was going to post after the Lion King musical on Tuesday. I didn't then either. Have I lost interest in the blogging already? Well in all fairness to myself I have been veeeery busy, plus have had food poisoning too (from a dodgy burger shop after the Saturday night out...) so I think I can be excused. So this post will be an update of the week just gone...
So last week I went to Birmingham to visit my friend Jamie from uni. Well, it was Twycross actually, but it's kind of near Birmingham, and much easier to say that than explain every time where Twycross is. Although Twycross itself is lovely, slap bang in the middle of some lovely countryside, it was so nice to relax and be out of the city for a few days. And the catch up with Jamie was much needed, we've been trying to organise meeting up for over a year now, and it just never seemed to fall into place! And we did go into Birmingham as well for some window shopping. Which turned into me buying a denim shirt and some mustard coloured skinny jeans. Yes, that's right mustard. And yes, skinny. Is the world ready for me in those?? Well it had better be because they are my new favourite items. LOVE THEM! That is, however, until I get my next obsession: the same skinny jeans but in BURGUNDY!

I have these...                    ....I WANT THESE!!!

They shall be mine. Although I'm not entirely sure what I'll wear them with. Oh well, an obsession is an obsession and I won't stop until I have them. I'm already thinking of getting them on my lunch break tomorrow. Ha.
So Saturday night was a night out with my friend Stewart. Mojitos, Vodka, wine also possibly, I don't really remember. I do remember some lesbians beating us at Pool. Bitches. All Stewart's fault for potting the black too soon.... Tut tut. And then of course we got a burger from some dodgy burger shop which has given me food poisoning. DAMN THEM! Its starting to go now, although unfortunately we can't remember where it was we got it from so there's a worry that we could end up there again one night when drunk and desperate for burgery goodness. Poo.
So I've saved the best for last (although I was going to anyway as going in order of how things happened...): THE LION KING!! Oh it was so amazing!! The stage and costumes were incredible, the cast were just brilliant (even the slightly annoying children in the beginning. Child actors. *shudder*) and it was just an amazing experience from start to finish. Not sure whether my food poisoning was making me more emotional than normal but when all the animals were flooding the stage for Circle of Life at the start I thought I was going to cry it was so good! Loved it, and then some.
